In winter 2021 The Joy Labs was commissioned by Video Vision airbnb to create murals for the four newly refurbished rooms in the former Video Vision video store. The result is 4 fictional moments in Winona history: the 1928 sighting of a Giant Squid in East Lake Winona, the 1958 partnership between the CIA and NASA to build its first covert research facility, the 1974 confirmation that Bigfoot loves Bloedow’s, and the 2078 victory against the Giant Alien Robots at Sugarloaf Intergalactic Gas Station.
