Community Builds! Maplewood Community Mural 2024
Following the 2024 Maplewood volleyball court community mural project, youth requested a refresh of the Maplewood community’s basketball court. Youth worked with The Joy Labs to create a design that was vibrant and welcoming. Youth decided on a basketball-themed refresh of the 3 point squares with colors inspired by Minnesota NBA and WNBA teams the Timberwolves & Lynx. In September 2024 over two days many youth and adult volunteers worked together to complete the refresh.
