In October 2023 The Joy Labs helped refresh a play therapy room at Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center. Thanks to The Storm Trail Race Series for supporting healing and positive youth development by making this project possible. This room is a space where Hiawatha Valley Mental Health Center providers facilitate learning through play to help children and their caregivers strengthen their relationships and practice healthy coping skills together. It was an honor to infuse color, nature and even more love into this space.
